I had a great experience at Selahn Inn. The owner, Saman, was incredibly helpful and made my stay enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Despite being close to the airport, the noise from the airplanes wasn't bothersome. The hotel's location was convenient for accessing both the airport and the Negombo Beach. The train station was also within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city center. I highly recommend this hotel for its friendly service and convenient location.

The staff were unbelievably friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay mind-blowing. They even arranged Tuktuks to the airport for us! The owner was super nice and personally picked us up after midnight when our flight was delayed. The room was spacious with hot water and the location was extremely convenient, with a 24-hour food hall nearby and a train station close by for easy transportation. The free bottle of water upon arrival and delicious coffee in the morning were unexpected surprises. an amazing experience and we will definitely be staying here again when we need a close sleepover to the airport.

The owner, Saman, was incredibly helpful and attentive. He provided everything we needed and even accommodated our early morning tea request. Getting a tuk tuk was quick and easy. The room was basic but perfect for our needs after a long day of travel. The electric shower was a great bonus.
Can't fault anything about it.

The double room with a tile/marble floor and private entrance made me feel like a VIP guest. It had a cozy ambiance that made me feel right at home. The flat-screen TV was an added bonus for entertainment.
Personally, I found the tile/marble floor a bit cold under my feet. But I understand that some people might appreciate the coolness, especially during hot weather.

The best aspects of my stay were the generosity and helpfulness of the owner, Saman. He went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. He even took us shopping and dropped us off at the airport free of charge. Another great feature was the spacious room with a large double bed and air conditioning. It provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. the hotel's convenient location near transportation and eateries made it easy for us to explore the area and find great places to eat.
One of the worst aspects of our stay was the busy atmosphere in the morning with tour vans and people leaving, causing some noise and disturbance. However, this is something that the owner cannot control.

The pre-trip information and helpful responses to my questions were mind-blowing. The owner, Saman, is an absolutely super and gracious gentleman. He went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, arranging a pick-up from the airport even after midnight. He even organized a discounted taxi for my onward journey. The close proximity to the train station was jaw-dropping. Additionally, the 24-hour food hall just 100 meters away was a fantastic surprise, ensuring that I never went hungry, regardless of my arrival time. I have already stayed here before my departure flight, and I highly recommend this place for anyone traveling to or from the airport.

The hotel is in a convenient location, just a short 5-minute drive from the airport. This makes it a great option for those looking for a quick and easy stopover before catching a flight or arriving late at night. The staff is known for being very accommodating and helpful, offering fair prices for taxi services instead of overcharging tourists like other places. Plus, there are several options for dining nearby, as well as a train station for easy transportation.
Some previous guests have mentioned that there were some issues with the room temperature and the noisy fan, which could be improved upon.
